Kherson allocated 85 million for utilities

Kherson authorities have planned more than 85 million for the operation of utilities and maintenance of city infrastructure in 2025. The funds are to be used to maintain parks, street lighting, garbage collection, and salaries for utility workers.

This is evidenced by the order of the head of the Kherson MVA Yaroslav Shanko.

The Kherson City Military Administration has amended the Work Plan of the Municipal Economy Department for 2025. As noted in the document, the decision was made to ensure efficient use of budget funds and implementation of the Comprehensive Program of Sustainable Work of Housing and Communal Services of the Kherson City Territorial Community for 2022-2026.

A total of UAH 85.1 million has been allocated for the implementation of the activities of the Department of Municipal Economy in 2025. The largest amount of funds - UAH 56 million - will be allocated toKherson Parks, which will help maintain green areas and park infrastructure.

Ecopolis will receive more than UAH 9.49 million. Of this amount, almost UAH 4.98 million will be allocated for salaries, UAH 1.09 million for salary accruals, UAH 1.59 million for the purchase of fuel and lubricants, and UAH 1.63 million for the development of documentation for obtaining a waste treatment permit.

EZO is to receive financial support in the amount of UAH 9.04 million. Khersonmisksvitlo will receive UAH 6.51 million for salaries, UAH 1.43 million for salary accruals, and UAH 42 thousand for vehicle insurance. In total, it will receive more than UAH 7.9 million.

<span>According to the decision, the amendments will ensure timely payment of salaries to employees of utility companies, support the city's critical infrastructure, and modernize services for the maintenance of green areas, street lighting, and waste management.</span>

Kherson also approved an updated social protectionprogram for 2025 with a budget of over UAH 45 million. It provides for payments to residents affected by the war, the seriously ill, pensioners and families of the city's deceased employees.
