The Russian occupation authorities on the occupied left bank of the Kherson region have announced their intention to transfer residential buildings, land plots and premises to municipal ownership.

This was reported by the Yellow Ribbon opposition movement.

According to the activists, a commission has already been set up to make such decisions.

"This is an outright theft of private real estate that people were forced to leave to save their lives. It is a new scheme for kickbacks, bribes, blackmail, and pressure," the statement emphasized.

At least 102 Ukrainian citizens are currently imprisoned in occupied Crimea on charges of "sabotage and espionage". Citizens of Ukraine illegally detained by the enemy were abducted in Zaporizhzhia or Kherson regions after the full-scale invasion and taken to pre-trial detention centers.

During the day, Russians attacked 36 settlements in Kherson region, damaging housing, transportation and infrastructure. One person was killed and three others, including a child, were injured.

As of the evening of August 7, one thousand two hundred and twenty-six people, including ten-six children and one hundred and twenty-nine people with limited mobility, were evacuated from the Korabel neighborhood in Kherson. The head of the MVA noted that there are cases when evacuated residents return to the neighborhood.

The documents of the State Notary Archive of Kherson Oblast were successfully evacuated and temporarily placed in neighboring Mykolaiv. This extremely difficult process was made possible by the coordinated work of the Kherson Regional Military Administration and with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
