The documents of the State Notary Archive of Kherson Region have been successfully evacuated and temporarily stored in neighboring Mykolaiv. This extremely difficult process was made possible by the coordinated work of the Kherson Regional Military Administration and with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

Such a rescue "mission" is quite dangerous for those who undertake it. But despite all the risks, this work was done free of charge. The driving force behind this process was the team of the State Notary Archive of Kherson Oblast - the head, consultant and archivist - who showed coordination and professionalism. The evacuation of such a volume of documents is an unprecedented example of responsibility and determination.

"In the context of Russia's full-scale invasion, one of the key tasks of the Ministry of Justice is to evacuate notary records and archives of state notary offices from the frontline territories in a timely manner. Archives are not just documents. They are an integral part of the state's information field, an important element of governance, a cultural and historical value that forms our legal memory," said Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olena Ferens.

An interview with Yuriy Dyachenko, a public figure in Odesa and a soldier, was also published earlier: "By the way, we need to prepare for the fact that the frontline may come here. I mean, not just that the Ukrainian Armed For ces may transfer units here, but also that there should be units that can immediately resist. Is this happening? I think not. I recently attended a roundtable on regional security. So there is a lot of work to be done, and I wish it wasn't up to me, who is not here. But I will find time. "
