In Odesa, 10 Russian drone strikes were counted, railway station infrastructure damaged

Employees of the State Emergency Service counted more than 10 places where Russian drones hit Odesa on the night of June 20.

According to the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region, a four-story residential building was completely engulfed in flames.

Firefighters rescued three people and evacuated six others from the burning building. While fighting the fire and rescuing people, structural elements collapsed on the rescuers, injuring three firefighters, who are currently in stable condition in the hospital.

A 23-story residential building was also damaged; firefighters extinguished the fire on the 18th, 19th, and 20th floors, and 600 people were evacuated from the building. Three people, including three children, were rescued from a blocked apartment. Five other residential buildings at different addresses and three cars caught fire.

The State Emergency Service deployed an Unbreakable Point at the site of the partially destroyed four-story residential building. According to residents, there may be one more person in the building, and search and rescue operations are underway.

According to preliminary data, a total of 13 people were injured, including three rescuers.

According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the shelling damaged the infrastructure of Odesa railway station. The contact network and rail and sleeper grid were damaged. There were no casualties.

According to the press service of the Air Force, on the night of June 20, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 86 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of imitation drones. As of 8:00 a.m. on June 20, air defense defenses neutralized 70 enemy Shahed UAVs (and other types of drones) in the north, east, and south of the country. 34 were shot down by firepower, 36 were lost locally and suppressed by electronic warfare.

Enemy air strikes were recorded in eight locations, as well as the fall of downed aircraft (wreckage) in 11 locations.
