The Russian occupation forces continue to remotely mine the territory of the Kherson
community, posing a deadly threat to local residents.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson City Administration.

They noted that on January 31, it became known about new cases of mining in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. On the territory of one of the city's utility companies, pyrotechnics discovered and
defused 11 explosive devices at once.

The published photos show modern Russian mines used by the enemy to remotely mine the liberated territories. Such ammunition can detonate at any time, so local residents were urged to be as careful as possible.

On the morning of January 21, a 61-year-old local resident fell victim to a Russian "petal" mine in Antonivka. As a result of the explosion, the man sustained serious injuries - an explosive wound and a foot injury. The victim was promptly taken to a hospital where he is receiving the necessary medical care. Earlier, a police car hit a mine while evacuating a sick 60-year-old resident of frontline Odradokamyanka.

Earlier, the Russian occupation army, which cynically terrorizes the population of the de-occupied Kherson region, recently remotely mined a section of one of the streets in the city's Dniprovskyi district with anti-personnel landmines"Petal".

Also in Kherson, police explosive technician Oleksandr Viter was killed during demining after Russian attacks . Before that, six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who were engaged in humanitarian demining in Kherson region, came under targeted fire from Russians and were killed. Two more SES employees, including a female paramedic, were injured.
