Ukrainian freediver <b>Kateryna Sadurska</b> won a competition in Dominica in the constant weight diving without fins (CNF) discipline under the auspices of AIDA (International Freediving Development Association).
This was reported by the Blue Element Dominica freediving platform on Instagram.
<span>The CNF discipline is considered the most difficult, as the athlete descends and ascends using only their own muscles, without the help of fins. </span>
The Ukrainian set a new world record by diving 86 meters. With this result, she surpassed her previous record of 2024 by two meters.
This world record is the eighth in the CNF discipline for the 33-year-old athlete, who previously participated in the 2016 Olympic Games. Sadurska broke the record for the third time in a row at the Dominican Republic tournament, and for the first time she set the world record in CNF in July 2023 with a score of 74 meters.
In addition, in the fall of 2025, the Ukrainian diver demonstrated strong results at the AIDA World Championships, winning two events: the 75-meter CNF and the 97-meter constant weight tumbling (CWTB), updating the Ukrainian record . In general, Kateryna Sadurska is a multiple world record holder and six-time CMAS World Freediving Champion.
<b>Kateryna Sadurska</b> is a 33-year-old Ukrainian swimmer who switched to freediving and became one of the most successful athletes in the world in this discipline. She is a participant of the 2016 Olympic Games in swimming.
Prior to that, in the fall of 2025, the Ukrainian won two victories at the AIDA World Championships : in the 75-meter constant weight dive without fins and in the 97-meter constant weight dive in bilastas.
