Prosecutors of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent to court an indictment against five representatives of the high command of the Russian Federation troops operating in Kherson region.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

During the pre-trial investigation, a clear vertical of Russian Armed Forces officers involved in the planning, ordering and implementation of a single criminal plan, namely the systematic terror of civilians in Kherson and Kherson district, was established.

In 2023, with the participation of these occupiers, decisions were made on regular massive shelling of the civilian population and civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region. As part of the implementation of the so-called "svoya" plan, developed by the highest military and political leadership of the Russian Federation, the commander of the "Dnepr" group, Colonel General of the Russian Armed Forces, gave orders to inflict fire damage.

His first deputy, Chief of Staff, Major General of the Russian Armed Forces, was responsible for planning the attacks and determining the means of their execution. The decisions were implemented by the forces of the 22nd Army Corps of the Coastal Troops of the Black Sea Fleet and the artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces that were part of it.

The commander of the army corps issued the relevant orders, and the chief of staff of the corps, a major general of the Russian armed forces, and the chief of missile and artillery forces, a colonel of the Russian armed forces, were engaged in detailed planning.

Further execution of these orders was carried out by artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.

Thus, the former secretary of the Kherson Diocese of the UOC-MP , Maksym Tarasenko, supported the occupiers after the start of the full-scale invasion and began to cooperate with the occupiers. He has now settled in Crimea.

In Crimea, Tarasenko headed the Simferopol Church of All Saints, located at 5 Uchbovyi Lane. He also began working in the press service of the Crimean diocese, focusing on supporting the Russian army and the occupation regime. Among other things, he organized services for the Russian military, received icons stolen by the occupiers from churches in the Kherson region, and participated in propaganda events.
