Kherson deputy "forgot" to declare 82 real estate objects

In Kherson, a deputy of one of the district councils was notified of suspicion of entering false information in his annual declarations.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the official did not indicate a significant amount of real estate in the declarations for 2023-2024.

The total value of this property, according to law enforcement, exceeds UAH 13 million.

The investigation was launched based on the materials of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. Currently, the pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Kherson regional police investigators.

The MP is charged with Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - entering false information in the declaration.

As Intent previously reported, MP from the Servant of the People party Volodymyr Ivanov, who represents Kherson region in the parliament, has officially disclosed his property and income. According to the declaration, which was analyzed by the Center for Public Investigations, the politician's housing issue is closely related to his family.

As a reminder, MP Viktoriia Vahner, who represents Kherson region in the Verkhovna Rada, has published her income and property declaration for 2024.

The MP from the Servant of the People party owns two apartments in Kherson (34.8 square meters and 34.2 square meters). Viktoriia Vahner purchased one of them in 2015, and the other in 2016. She also owns an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 52.8 square meters, purchased on 25.05.2017, and a land plot in Kherson with an area of 887 square meters, purchased on 03.02.2016. On the basis of the warrant, the MP has the right to use another apartment in Kherson with an area of 37.55 square meters.

Earlier , Tetiana Hasanenko, head of the Oleshkyi MVA in Kherson region, reported in her declaration that last year she bought a car three times cheaper than the market price. Natalia Chekhuta, the first deputy head of the Kherson MBA, also bought a private house in Vinnytsia region. And the wife of the dismissed rector of Kherson University, Yuriy Kyrylov, got an expensive apartment in the capital.
