Fire and damaged houses: consequences of a UAV attack in Mykolaiv region

On the morning of January 11, a number of hostile attacks were recorded in Mykolaiv region.

According to Vitaliy Kim, the head of the military-industrial complex, the air defense shot down three Shahed 131/136 drones at night.

In Voznesensk district, a dry grass fire started due to the fall of drone debris. The fire was promptly extinguished with no casualties.

In Mykolaiv district, seven attacks by FPV drones on the Kutsurub community were recorded on January 10. The shelling damaged residential buildings in the villages of Dmytrivka, Dniprovske and Solonchaky. No one was injured here either.

At about 18:55 on January 10, the enemy attacked Sukhoyelanetska community with an unidentified drone. According to the CMA, there were no casualties or damage.

On January 9, private houses and outbuildings were damaged in Mykolaiv region due to enemy artillery shelling.

On January 5, the Russian army sent an X-59 cruise missile and kamikaze drones to the Mykolaiv region. In total, the occupiers conducted 12 strikes with FPV drones and fired one artillery shelling on the territory of the Kutsurub community. As a result of one of the attacks in the village of Dmytrivka, a private house was damaged.

On the first day of the new year, the Russian army attacked Mykolaiv region with ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones. However, they did not achieve their goals. In the evening, on January 1, at 17:05, Russian troops fired on the territory of the Kutsurub community of Mykolaiv district, and at 23:29 they struck the waters of the Ochakiv community.

During one of the operations, two paratroopers from the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tauride Brigade showed brilliant professionalism by capturing 14 Russian soldiers. Before the assault, our fighters spent several days working on enemy positions with drones and FPV. Two of the 79th Brigade's paratroopers who carried out this operation have been nominated for state awards.
