Private houses damaged by artillery shelling in Mykolaiv region

Private houses and outbuildings were damaged by enemy artillery shelling in Mykolaiv region. No one was injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of January 9, air defense forces in the Mykolaiv region shot down a Shahed 131/136 drone.

In Mykolaiv district, on January 8, at 13:17 and 14:30, the enemy shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery.

Two residential buildings, three outbuildings and a power line were damaged in the village of Dmytrivka. The power supply has been restored. No casualties were reported.

On January 5, the Russian army sent an X-59 cruise missile and kamikaze drones to the Mykolaiv region. In total, the occupiers launched 12 strikes with FPV drones and fired one artillery shelling on the territory of the Kutsurub community. As a result of one of the attacks in the village of Dmytrivka, a private house was damaged.

On the first day of the new year, the Russian army attacked the Mykolaiv region with ballistic missiles and drones. However, they did not achieve their goals. In the evening, on January 1, at 17:05, Russian troops fired on the territory of the Kutsurub community of Mykolaiv district, and at 23:29 they struck the waters of the Ochakiv community.

In addition, on the night of January 2, the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed two Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones that attacked the Mykolaiv region.

During one of the operations, two paratroopers from the 79th Separate Air Assault Tavriya Brigade showed brilliant professionalism by capturing 14 Russian soldiers. Before the assault, our fighters spent several days working on enemy positions with drones and FPV. Two of the 79th Brigade's paratroopers who carried out this operation have been nominated for state awards.
