Enemy fired on 25 settlements in Kherson region

A person was killed and two others were wounded, including a child, as a result of the enemy's<span> </span>attack on Kherson region yesterday.<span> </span>

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Military District.

The enemy came under fire in 25 localities: Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Velytenske, Vesele, Dniprovske, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Mykilske, Molodizhne, Novoraysk, Oleksandrivka, Osokorivka, Prydniprovske, Romashkove, Sofiyivka, Stanislav, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Fedorivka, Shyroka Balka and the city of Kherson.

The Russian occupiers shelled residential areas of the settlements, damaging 3 private houses and a multi-storey building, and attacked critical and social infrastructure, including an educational institution.<span> </span>

<span>During the day on August 22-23, Russian troops shelled more than 25 settlements in Kherson region. As a result of the attacks, 16 civilians were injured and houses were damaged. </span>

<span>The occupiers hit residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities. The shelling damaged 11 private houses, a gas pipeline, a garage and several cars.</span>

According to official reports, 16 people were injured in the attacks, all of them wounded.

In Bilozerka, where the enemy attacked with a drone the night before, a 41-year-old man sustained a chest wound and an explosive injury. On the morning of August 18, the village came under fire again: a whole family was injured - a 50-year-old man and two women aged 81 and 52. All with contusions, concussions and blast injuries.

Another 64-year-old man, who was wounded on August 13 during the attack on Kherson, was also admitted to the hospital. On the same day, dozens of civilians in the region sustained contusions, blast and shrapnel injuries.
