On Easter, a train with Easter cakes and hot lunches for IDPs arrived in Kherson region. The kitchen train was created to support people in the frontline regions.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

"During the holidays, the Food Train, a special train-kitchen created to help people in the frontline regions, visited Kherson region. This mobile complex is capable of preparing tens of thousands of meals even without electricity.

The train arrived on a support mission: this time it delivered 1250 Easter cakes and 2500 hot meals for internally displaced people living in temporary shelters.

The project was implemented by Ukrzaliznytsia with the support of The Howard G. Buffett Foundation. Its main goal is to provide food to residents of regions where the war has damaged logistics and the energy system.

In February, one of Belozerka's medical facilities upgraded its heating system to improve energy efficiency. The hospital received the new equipment with funding from the European Union. This will allow medical staff to work in comfortable conditions and provide care to patients without interruption, even in cold weather.

In early March, the construction of the first well in the village of Novopetrovka started. It will provide 335 villagers with quality drinking water. The project is being implemented with the assistance of the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Service in Ukraine.

In addition, solar panels were installed at the local pump room in Vysokopillya, Kherson Oblast, to power a reverse osmosis system. This will provide stable access to clean drinking water for 2,700 residents.

After seven months of intense hostilities, the community's water supply system was severely damaged, and the pump room became the only source of drinking water.

In addition, the Novovorontsov community received modern equipment for a solar power plant from China. Huawei Ukraine provided batteries, inverters, control devices, and backup power panels. The station will power the pumping equipment of the wells, which will help stabilize the water supply in the community.
