An agricultural enterprise in Dnipropetrovs'k region exported products through the ports of Odesa region and did not pay taxes. As a result of these actions, the state lost UAH 15 million.

According to the prosecutor's office, in 2024, the head of the agricultural company deliberately did not include part of the profit in the tax reports. It was the export of 6 thousand tons of soybeans, the total value of which exceeds UAH 84 million. The products were shipped by sea through the port of Odesa region to Egypt.

Despite the actual volume of products sold, the company's documents indicated much lower figures, which allowed it to evade taxes worth more than UAH 15 million. As a result, the company "saved" significant funds, violating the law and causing damage to the state budget.

The BES Territorial Department in Odesa region added that the accused person has already paid the entire amount required. However, she was still notified of being suspected under Part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (large-scale tax evasion). The woman faces a fine of UAH 170,000 to 255,000 with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for up to three years.

Earlier in Odesa region, a grain export company intentionally evaded taxes on a particularly large scale. The case against the head of the exporting company was also sent to court.

Prior to that, an agricultural export company in Odesa region was forced to pay more than four million hryvnias in damages to the state budget.

Intent also wrote that agro traders accuse representatives of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) of putting pressure and blocking work at enterprises in the port of Odesa. According to the participants of the event, since December 19, BES detectives have been paralyzing the activities of dozens of companies operating in the port of Odesa, citing alleged tax evasion.
