On Thursday, July 2, members of the Odesa City Council gathered for a regular session. According to the draft decision, they were proposed to provide orphans with money to buy their own housing instead of receiving housing from the city. The deputies also allocated 800 thousand hryvnias to OdesaPolytechnic National University to develop a project to repair a dormitory that was damaged by a Russian missile strike.

The Commission on Housing and Communal Services approved changes to Odesa's city target programs until 2028. At a meeting on Thursday, Deputy Mayor Anna Pozdnyakova explained that millions and billions of hryvnias were added to the programs to enable the city to attract international technical assistance in the future. The official clarified that starting in 2026, the format of financing capital expenditures will be completely changed. The concept of public investment is now emerging.
