Crimean collaborators report on the growth of the occupiers' budget

The occupation administration of Crimea reports 'record' tax revenues for 2025. According to Roman Nazdrachov, who heads the illegal tax department on the peninsula, the growth rate of tax revenues in Crimea and Sevastopol allegedly exceeded the average for Russia itself.

This was reported by Holos Kryma.

The Russian budget system will receive more than 272 billion rubles, which is almost a third more than the previous year. At the same time, the consolidated budget of the peninsula itself should be replenished by 115 billion rubles, showing a growth rate of 120%. Such abnormal jumps in revenues, especially for value added tax, which grew by 157%, and income tax, which increased by 132%, usually indicate rapid inflation and a significant expansion of military production, rather than a real economic recovery.

An analysis of the sectoral structure confirms the militarization of the region, as the largest contribution to the budget comes from the manufacturing industry, which is mainly represented by defense companies on the peninsula. The second and third places are occupied by trade and construction, which also largely depend on government orders and the presence of the Russian military contingent. Despite propaganda statements about the increase in the number of entrepreneurs to 71,000, the real state of affairs demonstrates the depletion of the private sector due to the aggressive policy of the occupation authorities.

Punitive bodies play a separate role in filling the budget. In particular, Russian bailiffs under the leadership of Yevgeny Novikov have forcibly collected more than 25 billion rubles, while the amount of enforcement fees has doubled, indicating massive insolvency of the population. In addition to tax arrears, the budget receives significant amounts through criminal and corruption fines and direct taxation of citizens' property, which brought the occupiers 3.3 billion rubles in 2025 alone. Thus, the 'record figures' are the result of total control, coercion, and the transfer of the Crimean economy to a military mode.
