The Southern Suburban Passenger Company explained the reason for the closure as "technical circumstances," but did not provide any details.

At the same time, the Crimean telegram channel Krymsky Viter reported four explosions near the Dzhankoy station on the night of May 23. Satellite images also allegedly showed a fire in the area.

Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian side has officially confirmed the information about a possible attack on the railway station.

Also, on May 23 and on the night of May 24, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a series of strikes on military and logistics facilities of the Russian occupiers, in particular in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
