Recently, on the night of May 16 and 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial systems conducted a series of strikes on Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea and three other regions of Ukraine. One of the key targets was the strategic secure communications hub of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in the village of Myrnyi.

Among the targets in Crimea was the strategic secure communications node of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Myrnyi. Such facilities are used to coordinate the actions of Russian troops and control the fleet's forces.

Earlier, on the night of May 13, a series of explosions occurred in the annexed Crimea, and local residents reported flying drones over different parts of the peninsula. Due to the nighttime events, the Kerch Bridge was temporarily closed to traffic.

According to local telegram channels and monitoring groups, a Russian military unit in Simferopol and a power substation in Krasnoperekopsk were hit by the Ukrainian armed forces, after which large-scale fires broke out.
