Odesa region collected the largest parking fee in Ukraine

Odesa region collected UAH 27.1 million in parking fees, the most in Ukraine in January-April 2026.

This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

In total, in January-April 2026, taxpayers paid UAH 73.5 million to the budget for parking spaces. Revenues increased by 12.3% compared to last year. Last year, this amount was UAH 65.5 million.

In addition to Odesa region, the leaders are:

Funds from parking fees remain in the communities, allowing them to finance landscaping and improve road infrastructure. Payers of the parking fee are legal entities, their branches (offices, representative offices), and individual entrepreneurs - parking lot operators, not drivers.

The tax base is the area of the land plot allocated for parking by a city council resolution, as well as the area of municipal garages, parking lots, and parking garages built at the expense of the local budget.

The fee rates are set by decisions of local councils in the amount of up to 0.075% of the minimum wage per square meter of land area (in 2026 - UAH 6.5 per square meter).

In March, Odestransparkservice developed plans for paid parking lots in the vicinity of city beaches. The plans include a total of 567 parking spaces, including 62 spaces for people with disabilities. The total area of the parking lots is 8,138 square meters. Parking lots near beaches are currently planned: "Lanzheron, Dolphin, Zolotoy Bereg, Dolphin, and Fontanskaya Road from Lvivska Street to Garshina Street.
