In the village of Novotroyitske, Henichesk district, Kherson region, the car of the chief local police officer was blown up. The occupiers quickly blocked all the streets and searched for "terrorists".

This was reported by the Center for Investigative Journalism, citing its own sources.

The report says that in the morning of October 7, a powerful explosion occurred in the village of Novotroyitske of the community of the same name in the Genichesk district of Kherson region. Later it became known that a car carrying the head of the local department of the occupation police was blown up. He survived, but his leg was blown off as a result of the explosion.

It is noted that after the explosion, the Russian occupiers blocked all the streets in Novotroitske, checked all passers-by and everyone traveling by car.

The post adds that according to the occupation registers, the head of the occupation police department of Novotroitske is a local collaborator, Lyashko Serhiy Volodymyrovych, born on December 5, 1990, a native of the village of Hromivka. He graduated from the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, after which he worked as a district police officer in the Genichesk district.

During the occupation, Serhiy Lyashko returned to Novotroitske, where he initially worked as a "deputy chief of police for public security." According to locals, Serhiy Lyashko is involved in the abductions and torture of his police colleagues and threatens their relatives who remain under occupation. Apparently, due to his selfless service to the occupiers, he was promoted. Other members of Serhiy Lyashko's family, including the head of the village of Hromivka, Serhiy Lyashko, have also defected to the enemy.

Earlier it was reported that after the Ukrainian resistance forces blew up the headquarters of the United Russia party in the temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region, the Russians closed the party headquarters in the city.

In addition, in the annexed Crimea, human rights activists confirmed 17 cases of criminal proceedings for arson of Russian state facilities.
