During the day, the Russian occupation army shelled 33 settlements in Kherson region and launched rocket attacks on Kherson district.

According to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, five civilians were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

The invaders fired at residential areas, critical and social infrastructure. Rocket attacks were also recorded in Kherson district.

The attack damaged an apartment building and 12 private houses. An outbuilding, several garages and cars were also destroyed.

According to the Joint Forces Operation, Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Burgunka, Veletynske, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Ingulets, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Mykolayivka, Mykilske, and Molodizhne came under enemy fire and air strikes, Molodizhne, Novotyanka, Oleksandrivka, Osokorivka, Odradokamyanka, Poniativka, Pravdyne, Sadove, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tyahyanka, Ukrainka, Khreschenivka, Chornobaivka, Shyroka Balka, Shlyakhove, and the city of Kherson.

The day before, Russians attacked Kherson region with air strikes and shelling, causing damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. As a result, two people were killed.

The shelling of the Kherson region continued on April 23-24. At least six multi-storey buildings and eight private houses were damaged, as well as a pipeline, outbuildings, a garage and a car. Ten people were injured as a result of the enemy aggression.

As Oleksandr Prokudin recently stated, the military of the aggressor country has changed the tactics of shelling settlements in Kherson region. First, the occupiers drop bombs, and then cover the same area with artillery, the official noted. This means that the situation remains dangerous after the first arrival. That is why it is important not to leave the shelter immediately.
