The Security Service of Ukraine has identified ten police officers from Kherson region who joined an illegal patrol battalion created by the occupation "Ministry of Internal Affairs". These individuals voluntarily supported the Russian invaders and carried out criminal orders of the occupation authorities. For this, they were notified of suspicion of collaboration under Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The suspects are:

According to the data, the police officers became part of a battalion that functioned as part of the so-called "local Ministry of Internal Affairs" in the temporarily occupied territories. It was established that the suspects are residents of various settlements in Kherson region, including Kherson, Oleshky, Skadovsk and others.

In addition, the list includes family ties: the suspects include a father and son who became part of this battalion together. They all supported the seizure of Kherson region and collaborated with the occupiers.

All ten policemen were suspected in absentia of collaboration, which carries a sentence of 12 to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. SBU investigators also note that these individuals actively contributed to the work of the occupation structures and executed criminal orders.

Also in Kherson, the court found guilty a man who worked in an expert center created by the occupiers. After the de-occupation, his actions were classified as collaboration. During the occupation of Kherson in 2022, he agreed to work in a forensic center under the occupation police.

A member of the illegal armed group of the DPR was notified in absentia of suspicion of torturing a resident of Kherson region and threatening to kill his newborn child. The woman participated in repressions, using physical and psychological violence.
