Russian troops continue to terrorize the population of Kherson region.

This was reported by the communication department of the Kherson regional police.

The occupiers continue to terrorize the residents of Kherson, resorting to <b>remote mining</b> tactics. The enemy is deliberately scattering anti-personnel mines, in particular<b>"petal</b>" mines<b>(PFM-1 and PFM-1C</b>), in residential areas. Recently, mining incidents were recorded in Dniprovskyi district, where Kherson police bomb squad has already detected and neutralized the dangerous findings by controlled explosion.

Petal mines are particularly insidious because their small size and shape make them almost invisible on the ground, especially in the fall, when the streets are covered with fallen leaves. In addition, the <b>PFM-1C</b> mines are equipped with a fuse and can detonate at any time without contact.

To avoid a tragedy, the authorities urge citizens to be extremely careful. If you notice a suspicious object that looks like a mine, you should immediately stop, look around to make sure there are no other dangerous objects, and carefully move away to a safe distance. Under no circumstances should you approach the mine, pick it up, or attempt to move it. Call the police immediately. It is worth remembering that the explosion of such a mine can lead to severe injuries or amputation of limbs.

A resident of Odesa region tried to save her relative from mobilization by fake mining of the TCC. A woman called the police department No. 1 of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District Police Department and reported that an explosion was being prepared in one of the territorial recruitment and social support centers.

Police officers immediately arrived at the address indicated in the report and inspected the building and the surrounding area. No explosives were found. The citizen who provided the false report was identified by law enforcement officers the same day. The offender was a 50-year-old resident of the Tatarbunary territorial community. As investigators found out, the woman was trying to prevent her relative from being mobilized in this way.
