CABs, artillery, drones: Russians kill two civilians and wound nine in Kherson region

Yesterday, on September 28, the Russian military used artillery, tanks, drones, and aerial bombs against the civilian population of the de-occupied Kherson region. Two civilians were killed and nine others were injured as a result of enemy shelling.

According to the police in Kherson region, the regional center, Antonivka, Stanislav, Romashkove, Novodmitrivka, Shyroka Balka, Kizomys and Veletenske were under hostile fire in Kherson district. In the Beryslav district, Russian proxies attacked Odradokamyanka, Dudchany, Havrylivka, Nova Kamyanka, Mykhaylivka, Sablukivka, Tomaryne, Kozatske, Vesele, and the district center itself. 30 private houses, a multi-storey building, three cars and a bus, buildings of an educational and cultural institution, and an outbuilding were damaged.

At dawn, the enemy shelled Veletynske, Kizomys, Havrylivka and Stanislav with artillery. As a result of one of the explosions in the latter settlement, a private house was damaged. The 48-year-old owner of the house sustained concussion and light head injuries. The settlement was also under the sights of kamikaze drones for several hours. In total, the enemy sent at least eight FPV UAVs to Stanislav. The explosions damaged the building of the cultural center.

In the morning , the air force of the aggressor country conducted an air strike with nine guided bombs on four settlements in Beryslav district. As a result of the explosions in Dudchany, 26 private houses were destroyed and damaged. A 68-year-old local resident was also injured. The woman was hospitalized with a broken leg, concussion and closed head injury. Russians also shelled Novodmitrivka with artillery. A 75-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man were fatally wounded as a result of shell explosions.

In addition, the Russian military attacked various streets of Antonivka with drones. Six local residents were injured as a result of the UAVs dropping ammunition - a 68-year-old man and women aged 23, 41, 56, 72 and 85. The victims sustained shrapnel wounds and other injuries. In addition, a shuttle bus was damaged. The settlement continued to be under fire from drones and Russian artillery.

The enemy also attacked Beryslav from a UAV. In the afternoon, a 49-year-old local resident was wounded near a store as a result of a munitions explosion. The town of Romashkove in the Bilozerka territorial community was also attacked by drones. In the evening, the coastal part of Kherson's central district came under artillery fire. The explosions of Russian shells damaged a multi-storey building, a civilian car, and the premises of an educational institution. Another private house and a car were damaged in the regional center as a result of a munition drop from a UAV. A car was damaged in the same way in Shyroka Balka.
