An educator who implemented Russian education standards in a seized university in Kherson will be tried.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that an indictment against a former associate professor of a department of one of the universities of the regional center on the fact of collaboration (Part 3 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been submitted to the court.

Thus, the investigation established that in the summer of 2022, the accused collaborated with the enemy and took the position of "dean" of one of the faculties of the Kherson National Technical University, which was seized by the occupiers. In his pseudo-position, the man began to implement Russian education standards and taught courses exclusively in Russian. He was in charge of the general management of the faculty, approved the class schedule and coordinated the settlement of students in the dormitory.

The special pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of Kherson region, who headed the occupation"territorial administration" in the village of Shchaslyve, would be tried. The investigation established that in 2023, the accused cooperated with the occupation authorities and took the position of the so-called "head of the territorial administration of the village of Shchaslyve of the Oleshky municipal district of the Kherson region". In this position, she performed organizational, administrative and economic functions: she set up the work of the "department", ensured the recruitment of staff, organized sports events under the auspices of the Russian Federation and was engaged in issuing Russian passports. In addition, she personally agitated local residents to receive these documents and cooperate with the enemy.

Two ex-police officers from Kherson region, who joined the occupiers in Genichesk, are also accused.
