A resident of the Kherson region, who headed the occupation "territorial administration" in the village of Shchaslyve, will be tried.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment was sent to the court against a resident of the region on the fact of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Thus, the investigation established that in 2023, the accused cooperated with the occupation authorities and took the position of the so-called "head of the territorial administration of the village of Shchaslyve, Oleshky municipal district, Kherson region". In this position, she performed organizational, administrative and economic functions: she set up the work of the "department", ensured the recruitment of staff, organized sports events under the auspices of the Russian Federation and was engaged in issuing Russian passports. In addition, she personally agitated local residents to receive these documents and cooperate with the enemy. She was engaged in the resettlement of the Russian military in the homes of people who had left the settlement due to the occupation.

The special pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that the so-called "head" of the occupation administration of Henichesk in Kherson region was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Thus, prosecutors proved in court that the convicted person in August 2022 cooperated with the enemy and voluntarily headed the illegally created "Genichesk Military-Civilian Administration of the Kherson Region".

It was also reported that, based on SBU materials, two more collaborators who worked for the enemy during the occupation of Kherson were served with a notice of suspicion. Within the framework of criminal proceedings, both offenders were served suspicion notices under Part 7 of Article 111-1 (collaboration) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
