The occupiers shelled Mykolaiv region with artillery and sent drones. The attack was stopped by the air defense of the region.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of December 4, air defense forces and means in Mykolaiv region destroyed three Shahed 131/136 UAVs.

Yesterday, on December 3, at 9:50, 15:40 and 16:15, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community with FPV drones. Also at 14:00, the community came under enemy artillery fire. As a result of one of the attacks in the village of Ivanivka, a power line was damaged, which has already been repaired.

Also, on the night of December 4, the water area of the Ochakivska community came under enemy mortar fire. No one was injured.

Recently, the remains of an unknown drone were found in Moldova near the village of Pidhoren, which is located about 70 kilometers from the city of Podilsk, Odesa region. The information was passed on to the competent authorities, and the access of citizens to the area where the drone crashed was restricted.

The Russian occupiers also attacked another bus in the village of Inzhenerne, Kherson district, with a drone. Two people were injured.‍ At least 11 civilian objects were damaged, including private and apartment buildings, cars, two buses, etc.

And off the coast of Odesa region, the Ukrainian Navy destroyed a mine. After the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, many mines appeared in the sea, which were placed, in particular, by the Russians to interfere with trade. Sometimes they are torn off their anchors and carried by the current, sometimes washing up on the shores of Odesa region. However, in 2024, the number of sea mines washing up on the coast was less than in 2022.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian army currently lacks the resources to return the temporarily occupied Crimea, so it is necessary to look for diplomatic ways to resolve this issue. He noted that resolving the situation around Crimea is possible only after Ukraine reaches a level of strength that will not allow Russia to resort to aggression again.
