The first PORT Literary Festival, which is to become a new cultural platform in the South of Ukraine, will take place in Odesa on August 30-31.

Thus, we decided to dedicate the live broadcast of Intent.Insight on August 26 to this cultural event.

The guest of the studio was Andriy Hayetsky, a poet, member of PEN Ukraine, program director of the PORT Literary Festival.

The festival is organized by the Vyshyvankovy Festival NGO. The program promises discussions, musical performances, meetings with authors, and a craft market. The first festival is centered around the focal theme of the Freedom Coast. The organizers have decided to focus on literature born in the South and dealing with the South, from Odesa to Crimea.

The organizers consider it a special priority to present such content at the festival that would encourage southern youth to create new works, and in general to want to see the coast as more than just a recreational area.

Every week, Intent.Insight looks at one issue that worries Ukrainians and tries to solve specific problems, for example, on August 19, the guest of the studio was David Pischevyi , the author of the concept of the memorial to the fallen soldiers in Odesa. It is about the land of the former airport, which was purchased to expand the cemetery in 2014. It is obviously the property complex of the Zastava-2 airport, which was actually purchased for the cemetery.

The live ether on July 15 was devoted to discussing the problems of the volunteers' vacation. The August 12 episode, which was the first after a short break, featured the secretary of the Odesa City Council, Igor Koval. On July 8, host Maria Lytianska talked to Vadym Drumov, CEO and co-founder of Hillel IT School.
