A kindergarten under the flag of the invaders: head of the occupiers' kindergarten exposed in Kherson region

Law enforcement officers accused the educator of cooperating with the occupation authorities and working for the Russian education system. During the seizure of Kherson region, she headed a kindergarten and transferred it to Russian standards.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

A resident of the village of Mykilske in Kherson region was served a notice of suspicion in absence of cooperating with the aggressor state. According to the investigation, during the occupation of part of the region, the woman voluntarily agreed to work for representatives of the Russian Federation. In August 2022, she headed a kindergarten illegally established by the occupation authorities in the Bilozerska community.

While in this position, she organized the registration of the institution under Russian law, recruited employees according to the requirements of the occupation administration, and introduced training according to Russian programs. The kindergarten began to keep documents in Russian, and Ukrainian symbols and educational materials were removed and replaced with Russian ones.

The investigation believes that by such actions, the suspect contributed to the inclusion of the illegally created institution in the educational system of Russia and the strengthening of the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territory. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the SBU Office in Kherson region.

Also in Kyiv region, law enforcement officers detained a resident of Yalta. According to the investigation, since 2014, the woman, having pedagogical experience, has been organizing the educational process in the general education institutions of the occupied Crimea in accordance with the requirements of the aggressor country.

In addition to teaching according to foreign standards, the woman actively involved students in propaganda, in particular, dedicated to the "exploits of the defenders of the fatherland" and the 11th anniversary of the illegal "all-Crimean referendum". At the end of December 2025, during the full-scale invasion, the suspect arrived in the territory controlled by Ukraine to visit relatives.
