A 34-year-old resident of Dnipropetrovs'k region was served a notice of suspicion of attempted terrorist attack in Mykolaiv, where she tried to prepare explosive devices on the instructions of Russian special services. The woman was detained and is currently in custody.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the investigation, the woman was recruited by a representative of the Russian special services, who provided her with instructions via the Internet. Fulfilling the enemy's task, the suspect arrived in Mykolaiv, where she found two improvised explosive devices, prepared them for remote detonation and placed one under the car and the other near a tree near residential buildings.

She also concealed a mobile terminal with a power bank disguised in a juice bag so that the "operator" could remotely monitor the devices and control their detonation. However, due to circumstances beyond the suspect's control, her plan was not implemented. The woman was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.

Under the procedural supervision of the Mykolaiv Region Prosecutor's Office, the 34-year-old resident of Dnipro region was served a notice of suspicion of attempted terrorist act (Part 2 Article 15, Part 1 Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She is currently in custody. The pre-trial investigation is conducted by the SBU Office in Mykolaiv region.

The enemy's special services also recruited a 19-year-old student to commit a terrorist attack in Mykolaiv, where she was supposed to plant explosives near the police administrative building. According to the investigation, the woman was offered a monetary reward via a messenger, and according to the instructions, she was to pick up the explosive device and leave it near the police administrative building.

In addition, on February 14, an explosion occurred near a catering establishment on Pohranichna Street, killing people and injuring eight others.

Recently, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed another agent group of Russian special services in Mykolaiv. During the operation, four people were detained who were involved in adjusting missile and drone strikes on the city.
