Collaborationism and State Treason
Collaborationism is the cooperation of citizens with an enemy of the state, in particular with occupying authorities, to the detriment of their own country. On the territory of Ukraine, this term has gained particular relevance in the context of Russian aggression and the occupation of certain regions. Collaborators may engage in propaganda, dissemination of disinformation, work for the benefit of occupiers, transmission of information to the enemy, and other activities directed against Ukraine. Ukrainian legislation and law enforcement agencies prosecute such actions as treason and cooperation with the enemy.
