Consumer inflation in June 2025 was 0.8% compared to May 2025, and 14.3% compared to June 2024. Core inflation in June 2025 was 0.3% compared to May 2025, and 12.1% compared to June 2024.

In the consumer market, prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.4% in June. Fruit prices rose the most (by 13.5%). Prices for meat and meat products, soft drinks, fish and fish products, lard, bread, dairy products, butter, and sugar increased by 3.3-0.2%. At the same time, prices for vegetables fell by 8.1%, and prices for eggs, pasta, milk, and rice decreased by 1.1-0.4%.
Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 1.1%, due to a 1.8% rise in the price of tobacco products.
Clothing and footwear fell by 2.2%, in particular, clothing by 2.3% and footwear by 2.1%.
Transportation prices increased by 1.1%, mainly due to a 5.4% rise in rail passenger transportation fares and a 2.3% rise in fuel and oil prices.
It should be noted that the data excludes the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and parts of the territories where military operations are (were) conducted.
Cities are selected at the national level and are representative for each region of the country. Observations of changes in consumer prices (tariffs) are not conducted in rural areas.
