• Kateryna Sadurska is the world champion again! The freediver from Mykolaiv triumphed in her crown discipline, the constant weight dive without fins, with a score of 76 meters. Before that, Kateryna was second in the free dive. Only another Ukrainian, Natalia Zharkova, was able to beat her. Zharkova also triumphed in the monofin dive, where Sadurska took fourth place.

• Anastasiia Pavlova, an archer from Kherson region, was the only European woman to make it to the quarterfinals of the World Championships, where she eventually took seventh place.
