A large-scale renovation of the Zorya sports complex with modern rehabilitation equipment is underway in Mykolaiv. The works are to be completed by March 2026.

This is evidenced by the Prozorro procurement system.

Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the overhaul of two gyms on the ground floor of the Zorya sports complex. The work was commissioned by the Capital Construction Department of the Mykolaiv City Council.

The project includes a comprehensive renovation: dismantling, general construction and finishing works, modernization of water supply, sewerage, ventilation, heating and electric lighting, as well as the arrangement of a gym.

The expected cost of the work is over UAH 16.5 million, and the renovation is scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2026.

Particular attention will be paid to accessibility for people with limited mobility: a lift for people with disabilities and special equipment, such as handrails, clothes hooks and special door handles, will be installed at the sports complex.

The renovation will also include the installation of sports rehabilitation equipment. Bids will be accepted until June 20, 2025, and the auction will take place on the same day. The tender security is UAH 82,947 in the form of an electronic bank guarantee, which must be valid for at least 120 days after the deadline for submitting bids.

It was also decided to renovate the gyms that will be used for rehabilitation of the military and city residents. More than UAH 6 million has been allocated from the city budget for these needs. It is a major overhaul of two gyms on the first floor of the Zorya sports complex, where modern equipment for physical and sports rehabilitation will be installed.

The project involves not only equipping the premises with exercise equipment, but also improving the energy efficiency of the building and updating the halls to meet modern requirements.

Last year, Zorya Sports Complex overhauled its swimming pool. Modern water supply, filtration and water heating systems were installed in the renovated pool.
