Rashist attacks damaged energy facilities and critical infrastructure in Mykolaiv region, leaving 12 settlements without electricity. The enemy attacked the region with "shaheds" and FPV drones, and business facilities and service stations were also damaged.

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, told Suspilne about the consequences of the attacks.

"Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 19 attacks on Mykolaiv region using Shahed attack drones and FPV drones. An agricultural enterprise, energy infrastructure facilities, a service station and a construction supermarket were damaged.

According to Kim, strikes were recorded in Ochakivska, Kutsurubska, Ingulska communities, as well as in Bashtanka and Mykolaiv. Most of the attacks were aimed at the regional center.

In Mykolaiv, explosions destroyed a construction supermarket and a service station. However, there were no deaths or injuries.

In my opinion, this is part of the energy war that is now in its active phase between Russia and Ukraine over critical infrastructure. Because the main targets are still critical infrastructure, heating, electricity, gas, and, let's say, this is a side effect of this," said Vitaliy Kim.

"In Bashtanka, the Russians hit an agricultural enterprise, and in the Ingul community, they hit an energy facility. Due to the damage to the infrastructure, 12 settlements were temporarily left without electricity.

The official added that the strike on the construction supermarket was nothing more than an act of terror aimed at intimidating civilians.

Also on the night of November 3, 18 Shahed 131/136 attack drones and various imitator drones were destroyed in Mykolaiv region.

On the morning of November 1, Mykolaiv came under rocket fire from Russian forces. Around 07:20, a suspected Iskander M ballistic missile with a cluster warhead was fired at the city.

The attack killed one person and injured 15 others of varying severity, including a child with moderate injuries. The missile damaged a gas station and several cars.
