Vitalii Kim Declines Financial Aid Despite ₴1.2M Income in 2024

Vitalii Kim, the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration, receives more than UAH 100,000 per month, but refused to receive financial assistance and additional payments. In 2024, his total income amounted to more than UAH 1.2 million after taxes.

The salaries of public officials in Ukraine consist of a basic salary and additional payments that depend on seniority, position, and other factors. The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration , Vitaliy Kim, receives more than 100 thousand hryvnias per month.

According to the information provided by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration in response to a request, in 2024, the official was paid UAH 1,218,026.99.

After deducting personal income tax (UAH 219,244.86) and military fee (UAH 20,971.90), the official actually received UAH 977,810.23.

In January 2025, Kim was paid UAH 135,254.61, of which he received UAH 104,146.05 after paying taxes (personal income tax - UAH 24,345.83, military fee - UAH 6,762.73).

As of January 1, 2025, his official salary was UAH 148,136, but the actual amount accrued was less.

It is worth noting that in 2024 and January 2025, Kim did not receive any financial assistance - neither for health improvement nor for social and domestic needs.

In 2023, the property status of the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military District Administration changed - in October, he sold real estate for more than a million hryvnias. Vitalii Kim still owns five apartments with a total area of 406.4 m², half of another apartment (102.6 m²) and a non-residential building (293.6 m²). His wife Yulia owns an apartment of 57.9 m².

In 2023, the family's income consisted mainly of the salary of the head of the DEC - UAH 1.35 million. Also in 2022, the official's wife received a Hublot watch as a gift from her husband.

Last year, Yulia Kim became the owner of a Bitcoin (BTC, XBT) account. A check of the identifier specified in the official's declaration shows that the cryptocurrency on this account is valued at more than $30 thousand. The declaration indicated its value at UAH 848 thousand.
