In Mykolaiv region, the tax service found a number of violations at gas stations. One of them was the sale of unaccounted-for fuel. The total amount of violations amounted to more than UAH 400 thousand.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region.

According to Oleksandr Fedorovych, Head of the Actual Inspections Department of the Tax Audit Department of the State Tax Service, violations were detected in the operation of gas stations in the Pervomaiskyi district of Mykolaiv region in September 2024.

The inspections revealed that the gas stations sold excisable goods in violation of the law. In particular, violations were recorded in the accounting of inventory, the use of cash registers and the issuance of payment documents.

They also detected the sale of unaccounted-for fuel worth almost UAH 214.3 thousand. In addition, some gas stations did not have the necessary electronic equipment, which entails a fine of UAH 220 thousand. The total amount of violations was about UAH 435 thousand.

The audit materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies. The tax authorities urge entrepreneurs to comply with the law and consumers to be careful, as buying fuel without a receipt or at suspiciously low prices can lead to serious problems with the car.

Also in Mykolaiv region, tax service specialists identified suspicious financial transactions and prepared analytical reports. Law enforcement officers have now opened criminal proceedings. Specialists of the Financial Transaction Prevention Department of the State Tax Service prepared 32 analytical reports on suspicious transactions that may be related to money laundering or terrorist financing.

Recently, in the region, from January to September 2024, auditors completed 313 public procurement audits. After the procurement audits, the auditors returned financial and material resources to the state in the amount of UAH 72.8 million. The monitoring helped to avoid violations in the procurement sector worth almost UAH 276 million.

In September, the State Audit Service in Mykolaiv Oblast conducted an audit of the financial and economic activities of the Yuzhnoukrainska Utility Company for the period from January 2021 to February 2024. The results revealed violations of more than UAH 1 million.
