The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck at the command post of Russian troops near the temporarily occupied Oleshky in Kherson region.
This was reported by journalist Yuriy Butusov.
According to local sources, the target was a command post near the village of Nechaeve. The strike was carried out by a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet, which used two GBU-62 JDAM-ER precision-guided bombs.
The exact result of the strike has not yet been disclosed, but it is known that the attack was successful.
On March 31, six people were wounded in Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, dozens of settlements came under fire, including Antonivka, Komyshany, Naddnipryanske, Molodizhne, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Poniativka, Beryslav, Dudchany, Tyahynka, Shyroka Balka, and Kherson itself. Enemy troops attacked residential areas and social infrastructure, damaging four multi-story buildings and eleven private houses.
In addition, the shelling damaged a gas pipeline and several private cars.
The attacks left parts of Kherson's Central and Korabelny districts without electricity. According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson power company, specialists are working to restore power supply.
Due to the damage to the power grid, trolleybuses were temporarily suspended in the city, as reported by the Khersonelectrotrans company.
On March 29-30, the occupation forces shelled more than 30 settlements in the Kherson region, hitting residential buildings and social infrastructure, leaving ruins in their wake. Before that, the shelling damaged at least 5 multi-storey buildings, 9 private houses, a warehouse, a gas station, and several vehicles, including an ambulance. Three people were killed and 12 others were injured, and during the shelling in Kherson, ambulance workers were injured, two local residents were killed, including a 55-year-old woman.
Since the beginning of 2025, the terrorist country has carried out more than 2,500 attacks on the Kherson city territorial community, and in 2024, about eight thousand attacks were recorded. As a result of the attacks, more than 400 people were injured, including 39 children, and more than 40 people, including four children, became victims of Russian aggression.
