Ukraine's defense forces conducted new attacks on Russian military targets, particularly in the temporarily occupied Crimea. One of the key targets was a P-18 radar station near Yevpatoriya.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 23, Ukrainian units also hit a depot of rocket and artillery weapons and logistics in the Donetsk region, as well as a fuel train in the occupied Luhansk region.
At the same time, the events in Crimea were accompanied by a series of explosions and air defense activities. An air alert was announced in Sevastopol, and local resources reported drone attacks and loud explosions in different parts of the city.
There were also reports of a fire at an oil depot in Feodosia. According to eyewitnesses, thick black smoke was rising over the facility, and the area around it was partially blocked.
There were also reports of activity at the Kacha and Belbek military airfields, where air defense systems were operating.
The Russian-controlled head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that air defense forces had allegedly shot down several drones. However, the extent of the actual damage is being clarified.
The General Staff emphasizes that the strikes are aimed at reducing the combat potential of Russian troops and disrupting their logistics and command and control.
As a reminder, yesterday the Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the naval traffic control center in Sevastopol and other targets.
According to the General Staff, on April 21 and on the night of April 22, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important targets of the Russian aggressor.
