On the evening of April 7 and on the night of April 8, a series of explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by Krym.Realii with reference to local telegram channels and eyewitnesses.

According to public information, in particular, "Crimean Wind", explosions were heard near Simferopol, on the southern coast of Crimea and in the area of Simeiz. Drones were seen flying in the air, as well as air defense activities.

In particular, an explosion was reported near Simferopol at about 21:50, after which a fighter jet was taken off from the Belbek airfield. Eyewitnesses also reported several waves of UAVs, shooting, and new explosions in different parts of the peninsula.

The most resonant was the information about a possible strike on an oil depot in Feodosia. According to sources, at about 01:00, after at least three drones flew overhead, an explosion occurred and a fire broke out on the territory of the Sea Oil Terminal JSC.

OSINT analysts also confirm that the fireworks recorded on eyewitness video may be related to this particular oil depot. In addition, there are reports of traffic blockages near the facility, particularly on the Kerch Highway.

The official Russian authorities have not commented on the situation, and the Russian Defense Ministry has not reported any attacks. The Ukrainian side also did not confirm its involvement in the incident.

At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has previously noted that the Sea Oil Terminal in Feodosia is an important logistics hub for fuel supplies for the occupation forces. The facility has been repeatedly attacked and partially damaged.

Earlier, Intent wrote that in the evening of April 4 and at night of April 5, explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol and other areas of Crimea, and Russian air defense was operating.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022, Crimea has been regularly attacked by drones and missiles, but the Russian authorities usually do not confirm possible hits on military targets.
