Ukraine Allocates ₴39M for School Equipment in Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has distributed the remaining educational subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the purchase of equipment, creation and modernization of school canteens, and more than UAH 39 million will be allocated to communities in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.

According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decree, this includes three communities in Odesa Oblast and four in Mykolaiv Oblast.

In Odesa Oblast, the money is distributed as follows:

In the Mykolaiv region, the largest amount of funds - UAH 4 million 593 thousand - was allocated to the Koblivka rural territorial community for the canteen of the Koblivka lyceum. Another UAH 3 million 485 thousand is to be allocated to the Arbuzyn settlement territorial community for the Arbuzyn Lyceum No. 2 named after Taras Shevchenko.

The Novoodeska community can count on UAH 2 million 540.2 thousand for Novoodeska Lyceum No. 1, and the Vradiyivka community on UAH 2 million 285.5 thousand for Vradiyivka Lyceum No. 2.

In November 2024, the Ministry of Education and Science additionally identified the educational institutions that will receive financial assistance from the UN in December. The list included 38 schools from Mayakivka, Velykodolynsk, Ananivka, Lyman, Shabivka, Vilkovo, Lyubashivka, Bilyaivka, Bolhrad, Podil, Sarat, Tatarbunary, and other Odesa schools, Chornomorsk city, Berezivka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Reni, Oknyanskyi, Artsyzka, Baltskyi, Izmailskyi, Kiliia, Rozdilnyanskyi, Kuyalnytsia, Safianivskyi, and Odesa city territorial communities. The amount of money involved was UAH 290 thousand.
