Three roads to be repaired in Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv

Three tenders for road repairs have been announced in Mykolaiv. Almost three million hryvnias are planned to be spent on this.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.

The works were ordered by the administration of Zavodskyi district of Mykolaiv.

Thus, UAH 1,099,682 is planned for the current repair of the road surface on Naberezhna Street (from house No. 22 to Battery Street). On Uchytelska Street (from house No. 22 to Batteryna Street) - UAH 1,038,669 , on Ukrainska Street (from Oleksiy Volkov Street to Kinburska Street) - UAH 999,620 .

The auction is scheduled for September 26 and 27. The minimum price reduction step is 1% of the tender amount. The amount of security for the bidders' proposals varies within thirty thousand hryvnias.

593 m2 of road surface will need to be repaired on Naberezhna Street, 564 m2 on Uchytelska Street, and 547 m2 on Ukrainska Street. Work on the first two streets should be completed by November 15, and on the third street by November 8.

Payment will be made upon acceptance of the works.

Recently, Mykolaiv Oblast signed an agreement to repair a national importance road. More than 67 million hryvnias from the budget are planned to be spent on this.

The contract was signed without the use of an electronic system withEuropean Road Construction Company LLC. The company and its owner have been the subject of several journalistic investigations and are among the top three in terms of the number of road repair contracts in Mykolaiv region awarded without tenders.

Also in Mykolaiv, local authorities spent UAH 1.7 million to build a road in a dead end of the coastal private sector in the Soliani neighborhood, where three cottages are located.

The journalists used databases to identify the owners of the cottages: one house used to belong to the mother-in-law of a local businessman whose company receives regular contracts from the city. Another cottage belongs to the wife of a former deputy police chief, and the third belongs to a senior official of the State Emergency Service.
