Mykola Marinov, deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, published his declaration for the past year, in which he reflected his ownership of luxury real estate of hundreds of square meters and the renewal of the family car fleet with a brand new Mercedes. In addition to millions of dollars in income and proceeds from the sale of property, the official indicated significant amounts of cash savings exceeding a quarter of a million dollars. Despite the substantial wealth "under the pillow," the official's financial report also includes a valid bank loan.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the official's declaration.
The official owns two residential buildings of 242 and 381 square meters, as well as two land plots in the village of Yasna Polyana. His wife Viktoriia owns an apartment in Mykolaiv with an area of almost 120 square meters and a garage. In addition to real estate, the family declared an expensive hybrid power supply system purchased at the end of 2024 for over UAH 480 thousand.
In August 2025, the family's car fleet was replenished with a Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 car worth UAH 742 thousand, which is registered in his wife's name. The deputy head of the regional state administration himself travels by a Volkswagen Amarok truck and a GAZ 3307. As for income, Mykola Marinov's salary for the year amounted to almost UAH 1.2 million, while his wife received UAH 144 thousand in salary and UAH 620 thousand from the sale of property. Despite the million-dollar official income and almost $300,000 in cash savings of the couple, the family also benefited from government payments under the Winter Support program and received funds from the national cashback program.
