Under the procedural supervision of prosecutors of the Domanivka Department of the Voznesensk District Prosecutor's Office, an indictment was sent to court against a deputy of the Mostiv village council of the Voznesensk district on the fact of declaring false information (Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the official systematically entered knowingly false information in his declarations during 2023-2024. The deputy concealed information about the real value of his real estate and vehicles, "forgetting" to indicate property totaling more than UAH 4 million.

The pre-trial investigation of the case was conducted by investigators of the Voznesensk District Police Department. The official is now facing trial: he faces a fine of up to UAH 102,000, community service, or up to two years of imprisonment with a further ban on holding certain positions for three years.

Earlier, the former head of Mykolaiv District Council, Hanna Koverzneva, purchased a Honda HR-V for 525,000 hryvnias last year. According to the document, Koverzneva still owns a 51.2-square-meter apartment in Mykolaiv purchased in 2007 for UAH 126.2 thousand and a 31.5-square-meter garage purchased in 2021 for UAH 53.4 thousand. However, two land plots of 8.3 and 4.5 are no longer mentioned in the declaration. According to the document, in March 2025, Koverzneva donated this property. It is not specified to whom.

In addition to her salary, the ex-official indicated a national cashback of UAH 459 and income from the sale of a car - UAH 294 thousand. By the way, Koverzniieva bought a Chevrolet Aveo in 2007 for 63.7 thousand hryvnias. Her new car, a Honda HR-V, cost 525 thousand hryvnias.
