YouControl analysts have analyzed the five-year activity of the High Anti-Corruption Court and found that more than 30 MPs have been involved in proceedings during this period. The study, which covers the period from 2021 to 2026, shows an unprecedented number of cases against current and former members of the Verkhovna Rada.

This became known from an analytical study by YouControl.

In particular, the focus of attention of anti-corruption authorities remains on Mykolaiv MP Ihor Negulevskyi. His name appears in proceedings for obtaining illegal benefits. According to the investigation, the MP may be involved in the system of 'paid votes' in the Verkhovna Rada. Despite the bail of UAH 30 million provided by private entities, the case of alleged bribery in the HACC is still pending.

Another case concerns former MP from Mykolaiv Iryna Kormyshkina, who has already heard her verdict. She chose to plea bargain with the investigation in the case of illicit enrichment, recognizing the impossibility of documenting the origin of assets worth UAH 20 million (including real estate and jewelry). As a result, the former MP received a five-year suspended sentence and an obligation to transfer significant amounts to the state budget and to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, the report covers 35 MPs of the ninth convocation. Although the lion's share of the proceedings concerns the Servant of the People, the list of defendants includes representatives of almost all key political forces, from European Solidarity to Batkivshchyna. The most common violations recorded by analysts were fraudulent declarations and various corruption schemes. For Mykolaiv politicians, this report is another reminder of the high price of a deputy mandate and the close attention of law enforcement to representatives of the southern region.
