In Mykolaiv, damage to power equipment caused by Russian troops has led to power outages, which have disrupted the operation of public transit.
This was reported by the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivelektrotrans.”
Due to the technical characteristics of the electric transit system, service of “ Dnipro” trolleybuses has been temporarily suspended. Instead, all available PTS trolleybuses with a range of up to 20 kilometers will be deployed on the routes.
To power and recharge them, the company will use alternative power sources —diesel generators.
In addition, one of the trolleybuses—No. 0027—was damaged in the enemy attack. Its windows were shattered.

Trams will currently run according to the schedules set by JSC “Mykolaivoblenergo”—during the periods when the city has electricity.
Separately, “Mykolaivelektrotrans” announced changes to trolleybus route No. 8. Today, the trolleybus will run from the “Matviivka” terminal to the Railroad Station and back without stopping at the cemetery.
Passengers are asked to pay close attention to the direction of travel. Drivers will also announce the route and final stop during the trip.
The company noted that as the situation stabilizes, the fleet will gradually return to the city’s routes. They promise to provide further updates on any changes.
