According to the declaration, he also owns an apartment in Odesa with a total area of 118.8 square meters, half of a non-residential building in Odesa with a total area of 209 square meters, and two parking spaces. His wife owns two apartments and non-residential premises in Odesa.

Yuriy Kushchenko is also the owner of the limited liability company TWINS-GROUP. In addition to the 10-million-hryvnia gift, the official's income last year amounted to UAH 3 million 344.8 thousand in business income and UAH 283.3 thousand in pension. His wife earned 1 million 175.2 thousand hryvnias from her business, and another 646.5 thousand hryvnias from the sale of real estate.

Acting Odesa Mayor Ihor Koval appointed Yuriy Kushchenko to head the Peresypskyi District Administration of Odesa on December 4.

Earlier, Igor Koval dismissed Serhiy Kondratyuk from the post of head of the Peresypskyi District Administration of Odesa. His position was handed over to his first deputy Svyatoslav Glazanovsky. Serhiy Kondratyuk was appointed to the post in July 2018. At the end of August, employees of the Department of Strategic Investigations informed him that the head of the district administration was suspected of abuse of office. In September 2022, prosecutors from the Suvorov District Prosecutor's Office in Odesa sent an indictment to the court against the head of one of Odesa's district administrations for abuse of office.
