At a meeting on August 23, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to transfer property complexes of a number of state-owned enterprises and organizations to the State Property Fund.

This was announced by the Permanent Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.

According to him, the following have been transferred to the management of the State Property Fund:

The State Enterprise Kherson Regional Self-Supporting Veterinary and Sanitary Detachment (Oblvetssanzahid) was founded in 1992 and was engaged in general veterinary activities.

Earlier, the regional office of the State Property Fund in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions put up for auction a controlling stake in PJSC Machine-Building Production AssociationOrion. The shares were put up for sale without a discount, i.e. with a starting price as of December 2022 of UAH 6 million 854 thousand 705.

The State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) is a central executive body that implements state policy in the field of privatization, lease, use and alienation of state property, management of state property, including the state's corporate rights in respect of state property belonging to its management, as well as in the field of state regulation of property valuation, property rights and professional valuation activities.

The SPFU is also preparing for privatization the Mykolaiv plant, which previously belonged to the sanctioned Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. The State Property Fund is currently registering this property to form the authorized capital of the plant, after which a large-scale privatization of the plant may begin.

Kherson Biological Factory was registered in 1992. It was mainly engaged in the production of pharmaceuticals and materials.

In addition, the SPFU sold the apartments of Russian oligarch Mikhail Shelkov and Ukrainian collaborator Volodymyr Saldo in Odesa for almost UAH 7 million. Once paid by the winners, the money will go to the Fund for liquidation of the consequences of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
