Six million for road repairs: an auction announced in Mykolaiv

An auction for major road repairs has been announced in Mykolaiv. It is planned to spend almost six million hryvnias from the budget.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.

Thus, it is planned to overhaul the road surface of Chernyshevsky Street. The customer of the works is the Administration of Korabelnyi District. The expected cost of the procurement is UAH 5 million 942 thousand 930.

The auction is scheduled for October 3. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 59 thousand 429.

The repair work is to be completed by December 31, 2024. The customer will make the payment from the date of receipt of the relevant budget financing and a certificate of the cost of the work performed. No advance payment is required.

The warranty period shall be 10 years. In case of defects, the contractor must eliminate them within 5 days at his own expense.

In addition, asphalt will be laid in Mykolaiv in the areas where utility repairs were carried out. It is planned to spend more than UAH 12 million from the budget. The customer will pay for the services rendered on a monthly basis based on the service acceptance certificates. The repair work should be completed by December 31, 2024.

In Mykolaiv, a twelve-million-dollar tender for road repairs was recently awarded to a company of a deputy that has been repeatedly featured in journalistic investigations. So far, the company has received more than 12 million from the budget. The auction took place on September 16 and was attended by only one company, Sovar Group, which was awarded the contract for the repairs.

In addition, an agreement was signed in Mykolaiv region to repair a nationally important road. It is planned to spend more than UAH 67 million from the budget. The contract was signed without the use of an electronic system. The work was ordered by the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Mykolaiv Oblast. The plan is to overhaul the public road M-14 Odesa-Melitopol-Novoazovsk.
