Since the beginning of the fall, Kherson region has been attacked by drones more than 4000 times

During September, the occupiers attacked Kherson region with drones more than 2700 times, and since the beginning of October - about 1500 more times. Since the first day of autumn alone, 14 people have been killed by enemy UAVs, and 206 adults and three children have been injured.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, spoke about the operational situation in the region, the evacuation and restoration of power grids during the telethon "United News".

According to him, Russians continue to terrorize Kherson region with UAVs. Anyone can be under attack from the enemy's wings. The occupants are dropping explosives on cars, including ambulances and minibuses, people walking down the street or riding a bicycle.

The head of the OVA also noted that last night there was a turbulent situation in Kherson. Thus, the Russian occupation forces continued to attack various districts of the city. A multi-storey building, a private house and a service station came under enemy fire. As a result of the shelling, a 69-year-old woman who was on the balcony was injured. She sustained explosive trauma, shrapnel wounds to her arm and abdomen. The victim was hospitalized.

Earlier it was reported that on October 16, the occupiers used artillery, tanks and drones, including FPVs, against civilians in the Kherson region. During the shelling of the region, the occupiers hit residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, five high-rise buildings and 10 private houses were damaged. The occupiers also damaged a service station and private cars. On that day, six civilians in the right-bank part of the Kherson region were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

Also, on October 14, 2024, the Russian military directed an FPV drone at a civilian car with five people in it near one of the settlements in the Beryslav district. As a result of the attack, two women, aged 72 and 56, sustained life-threatening injuries. A 72-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were wounded. The driver was not injured.
