Shelling in Kherson region: Russians wound five civilians

Yesterday, on December 14, the military of the aggressor country wounded five residents of Kherson region.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the Russian military attacked social and transport infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged two high-rise buildings and 23 private houses. The occupiers also damaged gas pipelines, an outbuilding, a service station, a garage and private cars. Kizomys, Stanislav, Tomyna Balka, Novodmitrivka, Daryivka, Fedorivka, Shlyakhove, Novooleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Antonivka, Novovorontsovka, Komyshany, Honcharne, Kachkarivka, Chervony Mayak, Sadove, Bilozerka came under enemy fire and air strikes, Pryozerne, Prydniprovske, Beryslav, Tomaryne, Lvov, Poniativka, Sablukivka, Havrylivka, Ivanivka, Osokorivka, Tokarivka, Virivka, Mykhaylivka, Mykolaivka, Zmiivka, Respublika, Vesele, Tyahyntsi, Odradokamyanka, Kozatske, and the city of Kherson.

At around four in the morning, Russian troops fired artillery at Bilozerka. A direct hit from an enemy shell destroyed the roof and smashed the windows of one of the houses. In the other, the roof and windows were damaged by a blast wave and shrapnel. At noon, the Russian army attacked Novooleksandrivka in Beryslav district. A 65-year-old woman who was on the street was injured as a result of the shelling. She sustained an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her thigh.

In the afternoon, a local resident was hit by a Russian drone in the central district of Kherson. A 65-year-old man was injured as a result of the explosives dropped from the UAV. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to his face, arm and leg. The Russian army also shelled Komyshany with artillery. Two people were injured as a result of the attack. They sustained contusions, as well as explosive and craniocerebral injuries. A 46-year-old man was taken to hospital. The woman, 66, was treated by an ambulance crew on the spot. Later, the occupants dropped explosives from a drone on a resident of Antonivka. A 63-year-old woman was injured. She sustained a mine-blast injury, a shrapnel wound to her forearm and a fracture.

Kherson and the region are shelled daily by the Russian invaders. On December 12, the social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements came under enemy fire and air strikes by the Russian army again. As a result of Russian aggression, 1 person was killed and 2 others were wounded.

Prior to that, the Russian military shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson with artillery. A 75-year-old woman was killed when a shell hit a private house. In addition, the enemy opened fire on the village of Bilozerka in Kherson district. A 44-year-old man was killed and two men aged 45 and 48 were wounded in the shelling. The invaders also cut off electricity to two communities.

Earlier, the Russian military attacked public transportation in Dniprovsky district with a UAV. As a result, three people were killed and wounded. Prior to that, the invaders dropped a munition on a civilian car from a drone in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, killing a woman.
